TASK HAZARD ASSESSMENT | THA4
In our Task Hazard Assessment | THA4 template we’ve categorized common workplace hazards into 11 sections. For example, we include permits, PPE, overhead work, load securement, emergency response, elevated work and environmental. Geared primarily towards an industrial / energy sector setting, THA4 allows the author to address a broad variety of potential safety issues. Then move on to detailing their specific tasks with 6 double deep rows available for notes. Lastly, we include room for 5 participant sign-offs (complete with name, company and signature).
Hazard assessments are an essential part of every corporate health & safety program. Not only is it a requirement of Occupational Health & Safety regulations to perform hazard assessments but they must also be properly documented as well. A Task Hazard Assessment, also known as a Job Safety Analysis, are completed in order to identify potential or existing hazards that may be present during the course of a specific job or task. The assessor will then put in place and record preventative measures to eliminate or mitigate the hazards.
