DAILY EQUIPMENT & VEHICLE CHECKLIST | VEC4
The Daily Equipment & Vehicle Checklist | VEC4 template is suitable for use with either heavy equipment units or passenger trucks. Record unit hours or kilometres, as well as five different fluid levels, before proceeding to a listing of common inspection items (in user-friendly check box format). Categories include lights / electrical, mechanical, visibility, wheels & tires, safety equipment and miscellaneous. Seven full width rows are available for writing notes and detailing any items that require attention.
A vehicle and/or equipment checklist is a great way to ensure that operators are performing a physical and visual inspection before use. It is good practice to do a circle check of some kind before using any type of vehicle or equipment. For commercial operations, however, physical documentation of the inspection is often a requirement. A good quality checklist will detail important information about the equipment such as unit number, odometer reading and engine hours. Most importantly, there will be a listing of all aspects of the equipment that must be checked, an indication of how the results of the inspection should be recorded and a comments section for more detailed descriptions of items found during the inspection.
Standard customization options include:
- Company logo
- Company header (address, phone, etc.)
