SAFE WORK PERMIT | SWP2
Our Safe Work Permit (SWP2) template offers a comprehensive solution for managing and documenting safe work practices. To begin, it requires detailed information from the job supervisor, including their signature. This signature signifies their acceptance of responsibility for the work’s scope. Additionally, the permit clearly specifies the job location, along with the issue and expiry dates and times. It also allows for extensions, but only under certain conditions. Furthermore, a dedicated ‘Job Summary’ section provides a table for outlining major work activities. The document then elaborates on ‘Work Hazards And Required Precautions And Controls.’ This section covers 14 distinct categories. These include Chemical Handling, Confined Space Entry, and Electrical Work, among others. Each category lists specific precautions and controls that must be checked off. Moreover, a ‘Gas Detection Record’ table is integrated for logging measurements of LEL, H2S, Oxygen, and CO, complete with their safe limits. Finally, the permit concludes with sections for any additional controls. A completion checklist, to be filled at the end of the workday, ensures all job aspects are finalized and the site is clean and safe.
