Shipping Document | TDG1 is designed to record key details about a shipment, including the consignor (shipper) and consignee (destination) with their respective addresses, as well as the carrier’s name and the shipment’s origin. The document includes fields for essential information about the dangerous goods, such as the UN Number, shipping name (and technical name, if applicable), primary and subsidiary classes, packing group, quantity, and number of packages. It also requires a 24-hour emergency contact number and may include an ERAP reference number and phone number. A crucial component of the form is the shipper’s declaration, which certifies that the shipment complies with the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations. The form also includes spaces for signatures from the shipper, driver, and consignee.
