The Receipt | R2 template comes in a half-letter (8.5″ x 5.5″) sized format which makes it our biggest receipt! It starts out by collecting both “Sold To” and “Ship To” information. Also included, are fields to reference a purchase order number and invoice number. The main table has 8 rows for describing your products or services. Conveniently, you can customize all the column headings to fit your business needs. We can easily convert this template to a 8.5″ x 8.5″ square or 8.5″ x 11″ letter-sized format if required.
Receipts, also known as a proof of purchase, are an integral document to business operations. In general, they are a declaration that some form of compensation has been given in exchange for a product or service. Most vendors require proof of purchase in the event that a customer requests an exchange, return or to induce warranty coverage. Most importantly, businesses are required to keep them for tax purposes. Receipts are commonly produced in a multipart format on NCR (carbonless) paper for the purpose of allowing the buyer, seller or any other entitled person(s) to receive an exact copy of the form for their records.
