A Bill of Lading, also known as a BOL or B/L, provides clear communication of the shipping arrangement between the carrier and shipper. You can also use your BOL as a receipt for freight services. Your shipping & receiving department can keep your cargo moving easily with this form by including all the details of the shipment. A clear and precise BOL includes a detailed description of the goods being shipped, the quantity of goods, where they are going, who is receiving them, who is being billed for the freight charges and any other additional data.
